margaretc! Welcome to this little corner of whatever.

This past weekend I had a short visit with

jacylrin's daughter. (And

jacylrin herself as well, but if you ask the 8-year-old, you can be certain who *she'll* identify as the primary visitee!) I also went over to Maryland to help

sigkit move her stuff from storage back into her new/old place (the same stuff I'd helped move *out* of the same place, as noted over here). There was a sizable crew of grunts, including

northernwalker,

sister_devora, and

pedropadrao, as well as some folks who don't have LJs. The storage place rents box trucks; we got everything into and out of the box truck (plus one pickup) in under 6 hours.

I've spent too much of the last few days missing people.
