Thirty-odd years ago veterans didn't get much respect. They also didn't get treated well by the government of the people they'd risked their lives to protect. I always thought that was a sad thing. Over the last twenty-odd years we've gotten better, though in fits and starts and not without backsliding.
For now, I want to do what little I can and just say "THANK YOU" too all who are serving and to all who have served honorably.
