MMC's Rule VSOB
Sep. 19th, 2004 01:22 amGet out the brooms -- the CHS Mighty Marching Chargers swept the field at Herndon tonight. Class AAAA Best Drum Majors, Best Visual Ensemble, Best Percussion, and First Place Overall -- and Grand Champion (all classes).
No, it wasn't the best show. But it's still early in the season, weather has forced a lack of practice, and weather also forced tonight's competition onto a parking lot. But at least everyone actually marched their shows -- and we *were* the best out there tonight.
Now the MMC's have three weeks to prepare for the Bands of America regional at Rutgers (Piscataway NJ). Go Mighty Marching Chargers!
