liadan_m and I have been in touch on a few occasions recently. Yesterday I was at a stationer's and on the phone with her; she mentioned a few ... interesting ... note pads she'd seen. Last Friday, I was IMing with her and she mentioned that it was Much Too Cold^TM in Minnesota right then. How cold was it in Minnesota? This cold (thanks to montuos for pointing out the link).
