Updatitudinousness (and other word-manglings)

(Updated from a previous post.) I'm still working on the reflections post(s); it's been rough sledding in a number of spots. In the meantime, life has marched on, and stuff has indeed happened. Among them are new LJ-friends... welcome to weebaby, hersir, and sigkit!

The long Memorial Day weekend was taken up with a visit to Pennsylvania. We got something of a late start heading up, and there seemed to be some lingering exhaustion the whole weekend. Other stuff happened, such that I didn't get to see everyone I'd have liked to, but that's the way it goes sometimes.
