I obviously don't get around as much as

bold the states you've been to, underline the states you've lived in and italicize the state you're in now... [I don't know if this is meant to mean the state you LIVE in now, or the one you are physically in as you work on the meme. But for me they're the same.]

Some notes:

Only two states I've been to do NOT touch the rest. Going to those happened on the SAME trip (by airplane of course). The other airplane trips I've taken were either to states I've been to by car/train/bus, or to Europe.
I only counted the states I've walked around in -- flying over doesn't count. If I didn't get out of the plane/car/train/bus it doesn't count either.
If I'm lucky I might add another five states this summer.

[EDIT 21 Jan 06: Didn't get those five states, but I did add Michigan. If circumstances cooperate I can add TN, MS and LA this year, leaving just NH and ME east of the Mississippi.]

[EDIT 28 Jun 06: I did add those three states noted above: Tennessee and Mississippi in March, and Louisiana earlier this month.]
