montuos and I will be leaving shortly to visit her mother for the weekend. Her brother and sister-in-law will also be there. Tomorrow is Kinsale Day (which is why the gathering is happening this weekend).
While Internet access is fairly quick from Ayrfield (via satellite dish), physical access to the machines is limited. (At some point
killernurd and I will get the house networked down there... but not this weekend.) Therefore, I will be online only sporadically for the next 48 hours; we'll be back home at some point on Sunday.
I wish everyone a happy and safe weekend (and productive or not depending on what you're aiming for).

Even if there were any interest in such stuff among this weekend's guests, the house (a) isn't big enough; (b) hasn't the requisite facilities to make things, er, interesting. Cheri (Sallie's cousin's widow, mentioned above) is sleeping on the couch in the living room which pretty much puts the kibosh on most late night activity save for occasional complains from Winston (the grand-dog).

Of course that means I will be slipping quotes into conversation, now.
