Since Gulf Wars

damontHaven't been posting a lot, and haven't been reading LJ quite as regularly either. I got home from Gulf Wars on Monday the 20th, and much of the following week had houseguests. That Saturday (the 25th) went to Defending the Gate (SCA event) down in Fredericksburg.
Last Saturday (the 1st), we had deliberately decided to have a no-SCA-event day... so of course the Universe noticed the so-called "free" day and filled it up: meeting to deliver an armory submission from Gulf Wars, an extra choir rehearsal, a twice-rescheduled appointment to be a guinea pig for someone in massage school. wanderingpixie, which we'd been anticipating for some time. Good food, excellent company and conversation. The following day the men sang the Russian piece in church, then I was off to Ayrfield to retrieve killernurd.
This weekendmontuos and I are going to (Not In) Emmaus Fair; we've talked wednesday1971 into showing up with her husband and kid. Next weekend is Easter: singing on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings at Sharon Chapel, then right after the Saturday service Tony and I will hightail it to Allentown to spend Sunday with family (and friends thereof who are close enough they might as well be family).
We're heading up to Allentown this morning; I don't expect to be online again until this evening. Tomorrow I may not be online at all (early morning and late evening being the only possibilities), and then sporadically on Sunday and Monday (not sure when we're coming home). Then it's time to get ready to sing.
