Congrats to [livejournal.com profile] herveus on surviving three children making it all the way through high school and graduating. (The third graduated yesterday.)

Æthelmearc War Practice was good, even if I did get a bit sunburned. That was my spring event sunburn for this year -- and it's a lot milder than the one I got at EK SR Spring War Camp *last* year. I'll post more details later when I've more time. But [livejournal.com profile] montuos and I are both going to pre-reg for Pennsic this evening -- even if she can only come up for a couple of days.

Most readers of my LJ may have missed this post from last week, as I posted it privately as a quick-n-dirty, and went back and polished it up later before making it public.

This past weekend I went up to Alles Faire, and then on Sunday visited other folks in PA including [livejournal.com profile] h3salthea -- a brief visit but most enjoyable nonetheless. In the meantime I've spent much of the last week and a half with my physical health a bit delicate; I don't know if it's something(s) I ate, or various bugs I've picked up, or a combination of both.

Tomorrow I'm heading to Charlottesville, for a University of Atlantia SCA event. Back to the place where I actually got started in the SCA... only a daytrip, so the stress level should be pretty low. I should remember to print out a handout and get copies made, though.

And why am I up at such an early (for me) hour of the morning today? Because I need to go get Dora Sue (the Subaru wagon) inspected. And I'm off now to do just that.
