Today is the anniversary of my first wedding to [livejournal.com profile] montuos. Happy anniversary, amante!

Curiously enough, today is also the tenth anniversary of my stepping up as Golden Dolphin Herald for Atlantia.

Somewhere in my old posts is one telling this tale. But I've been too distracted today to find it...

ok, now you have to have a handfasting, a Jewish wedding, a... you get the picture. I've never been to one of your weddings so it's time for another!

Lots of love for both of youse :)

I confess I'm curious too. Usually repeat weddings to the same person are reserved for the rich and weird(ie. Dick & Liz)...
If you have more than one wedding anniversary to mark, do you rack up those traditional presents (paper, cotton, leather, wood) more quickly?

Good heavens no, we already have no room in the house! Though I suppose paper could be books, and cotton could be clothes, et cetera... :-) But there's still the basic problem with having everything: where would you keep it?

Unlike, say, Dick & Liz, [livejournal.com profile] montuos and I did not get UNmarried between weddings. The RD condensed version: there was a civil ceremony, a church ceremony, *and* the big circus which was supposed to be the church ceremony but ended up being a reaffirmation instead. When we find the full story we'll repost it here; I don't want to type it up again right now!

LOL. Thank Goddess it was that rather than the wedding, the divorce, the remarriage...

Nope; not even! I will accept that divorce may be desireable or even necessary for other people's situations, but not for me.

We just got married by slow stages; that's all.
