Happy Belated Birthdays to [livejournal.com profile] dagopher, [livejournal.com profile] liamstliam, [livejournal.com profile] tynieallen, [livejournal.com profile] demonlurking, [livejournal.com profile] mrgoodwraith, [livejournal.com profile] hersir, and [livejournal.com profile] isenglass! I have given good birthday wishes to may of you already, either in your own blog or someone else's, but for all of you I hope your birthdays were good ones.

For various reasons I haven't been posting much this month. Being sick and doing taxes were significant factors. I'm even nearly a week behind on *reading* LJ, though I am caught up on today, having read from last night through to the present. More details will probably come next week, but for now here's the short version...

The week after Easter we traveled to Pennsylvania and New Jersey, to attend the Mudthaw event and watch [livejournal.com profile] alphaggek get Flipped The Bird. Various people either had, or were just coming down with, some sort of bug; I caught it, but [livejournal.com profile] montuos and [livejournal.com profile] stefsoap managed to avoid it (for which they were quite grateful). I was unwell for most of the week that followed, and would have been utterly miserable in the cold and damp conditions that pervaded Atlantian Coronation the following weekend. So while [livejournal.com profile] montuos went down to Way Southwestern North Carolina, I stayed in the FedroSplat. I went to gaming at [livejournal.com profile] chez_turtle on Friday the 4th and to Megan's birthday party on Saturday the 5th. For the first part of the following week, [livejournal.com profile] bunnyjadwiga crashed with us while attending a conference in the area; she caught the bug rather more heavily than I had, and still looked and sounded pretty bad off. Last weekend I went up to PA, as I needed to visit my credit union up there, and had been invited to dinner as well. This past week has been taxes and more taxes; VA state income tax returns aren't due until 1 May, so I waited until after the fed returns were done to do the Virginia taxes.

And that's the quick version of what I've been up to. Blessed Passover for those who celebrate it, and a happy weekend to everyone!

Thanks!

I'm sorry-we didn't make our usual offer of a whole apartment's worth of chometz...:)
