To all of you who live in, or used to live in, or are just familiar with, the Twin Cities area, particularly around Bloomington:

A friend is going up there for all of next week on business, and has inquired about places to eat -- he's done this trip before and quickly ran out of places to try. He reads my LJ, so if you have recommendations feel free to make them here; also, please ask *your* friends to post recs here (not locked, comments from non-friends okay, anonymous comments initially screened). If he'll have a car, my nicest restaurant discovery in the Twin Cities has been Cafe Biaggio: http://www.caffebiaggio.com/. A bit pricy.

Also, it appears that one can get to Caffe Biaggio by transit from Bloomington -- take the number 55 light rail up to the Metrodome, then transfer to the number 16 bus (University Ave/St Paul) to 2356 University Ave W. Thanks to Metro Transit (http://www.metrotransit.org/) for the info.
