Quick update of sorts

damontI'm working on two longer posts, and yes that includes the nearly month-old post about Sapphire Joust. I just don't have time to finish them up right now.
Yesterday was "Novice of the Heart", for which I had been tagged to herald Royal Court. I spent a lot of the day hanging out with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
glynisgwynedd talking about heraldry and other stuff; I also spent some time with jacylrin and her daughters, the older of which got her authorization for youth combat at the event. Yay Rose!!! In many ways this was my last chance to go around and meet with friends from Atlantia prior to Pennsic. The number of LJers there was pretty staggering though not surprising. The weather was warm and muggy and rainy most of the day, but never really horrid. Then, just before Court, things cleared up, and we had a respectable breeze going by the time Court was over. Court itself went well.
And now it is time to head for Christ Church in Alexandria, where Alle Psallite is singing for the 5 PM service. Catch everybody on the flip side!
