Wrapup of the game from The Sports Network.

So. Back in May, the Nats and Astros were playing a game in Washington. The game went to extra innings tied 10-10. Joel Hanrahan pitched the top of the 11th. Elijah Dukes walked in the bottom of the 11th. With Dukes on first and one out, the skies opened up, and the game was eventually suspended. The game was scheduled to resume this evening... two months later, in *Houston*.

In the meantime, Joel Hanrahan has been traded to the Pirates, and Elijah Dukes has been sent down to the minors.

So when the game resumed, the Nats send in a pinch runner for Dukes. The pinch runner, Nygel Morgan, came over from Pittsburgh in the Hanrahan trade. Two batters later, Morgan scored the winning run on a botched double-play throw.

This means that:

1. The guy who scored the winning run was not on the team when the game started.

2. The winning pitcher for the Nats is not only no longer on the team, but was effectively traded for the guy who scored the winning run.
