Anniversaries of things
Mar. 1st, 2005 11:46 pmMy clock says there are 14 minutes left to go on March 1st.
One year ago today, I made my down payment on Dora Sue (Subaru wagon). Dad and I then went to the credit union to discover it had closed at 4:30, not 5:00. So I didn't take actual delivery on Dora Sue until the 2nd, but I count the 1st as the anniversary of my buying her.
On this date in 1977, my paternal grandfather passed away. I still miss him sometimes. I bet Dad and his brother do too.
On this date during my senior year in college, I began my first and only Spring Break To Florida trip. I had recently turned 21, which proved to be a minor convenience.
