Interesting tidbit: It appears that a cousin of mine is now the principal at the elementary school I went to from 1st grade through the middle of 5th grade.

( ...and this past weekend )

This past Wednesday herveus and I remembered how to do a fencepost lashing, and got my tent poles secured on the roofrack of Andrew's car. The rest of my pavilion went inside said car. Now it's Friday morning; baron_rorik and janinas_nest may well have headed north and west already, and in about 4 hours I'm off to Bowie, where mizkismet and I will pile into the car and head for Pennsic. We'll be back some time on Sunday, since we're only going up for the weekend. (I'll be carpooling back to the war with jacylrin midweek.) I'm almost two weeks behind on LJ and I doubt I'll have much chance to catch up, so if there's anything in particular you want me to check out, please let me know in comments.
