fuzzface00 got called into Court... along with about half a dozen other folks. The King and Queen, and the Baron and Baroness of Bright Hills as well, wanted to publicly acknowledge the folks who spent their day/weekend at Atlantian Coronation (back at the start of April) getting vehicles out of the muck. I believe everyone present received the Fountain (Kingdom award recognizing service, no precedence attached, you can get it multiple times) from Their Majesties. Most if not all of them also were inducted into Bright Hills's Baronial Order of Courtesy, reactivated specifically because of the actions of these people.
Although I was not at that event (I went to EK Coronation), I *was* at Pennsic last year and therefore understand the amount of work those folks must have done. And because of that, I join TRM and TEoBH in tipping my hat tofuzzface00 and his fellow vehicle-extractors.

Date: 2005-05-09 03:02 pm (UTC)Actually, Graham and the rest of the guys were doing the vehicle extraction... By the time that was occurring my legs were shot. I had spent most of my day shuttling folks back and forth between points with my trusty umbrella, carrying stuff for folks and fixing the occasional downed structure. By the end of the day I was covered with mud and quite soaking wet.
As was appropriate I was summoned to court by Radio. It took me a while to figure out what happened, which was I was granted a Fountain... Supporters... and a BH Baronial Award of Courtesy. I was completely stunned by all of this.
This occurred the same day I receieved my new leather coronet and my (after 10 years) finished AoA scroll. Amazing.
