Learned "Power Grid" this afternoon. Very interesting. The game mechanics make it Very Uncomfortable to be the person in the lead -- it makes you go last for most things, which means that stuff costs more if you can get it at all. So nobody really wants to be in the lead until the games is about to end. That makes it fun to play, watching everyone (including yourself) squirm as they try to stay behind... but not too far behind.
