Anniversary...

You'd think that, after getting a card from my parents, and after we had already discussed it a couple of days earlier, either of us would have remembered ON SATURDAY that Saturday was our anniversary. Nope. montuos remembered in the wee hours of Sunday morning on the way home from gaming at Unicorn's Rest. (Which is technically still Saturday by my usual reckoning, but *STILL!*...)

This, btw, is the anniversary of Our Big Fat Family Wedding, as opposed to the two that preceded it.

BTDT, GTTS. (The fall Crown Tourney in Ponte Alto five years ago -- we were hosting an entrant couple and they asked how long we'd been married, we sort of looked at each other as we realized that it was our anniversary that day...)

Happy anniversary ... but wait, you two had *three* weddings?!?

Well, originally there were only going to be two ceremonies: first the civil ceremony to get the legalities out of the way, and then a church wedding after I had been baptized. It turns out that in the Catholic church, if you've already married by civil ceremony, you have to have a priest solemnize the marriage after you become a catachumen, but before the baptism. But since we'd already booked the chapel for June, we had a five-minute ceremony right after the last RCIA class, and had a reaffirmation of vows for the circus for the families in the chapel.
