In honor of the many folks I know (including not a few LJ friends) who work (or have worked) in libraries. As usual, put the food-n-drink down and swallow everything before reading... A *BIG* thank you to [livejournal.com profile] tattycat for giving me permission to use this.

Many of you have encountered the following line or something like it:

"Some folks don't have issues; rather, they have *subscriptions*."

Well, a minor variant on that line occurred in a friend's LJ today (locked post -- I don't remember the exact context and it shouldn't matter), to which [livejournal.com profile] tattycat responded:

"And some folks have bound back issues with microform backup and full text electronic access.

"Who knew library school would be good for insults?"

That's like something some friends and I came up with, re: someone with "baggage".

Some people have baggage; this guy has cargo-holds.

But I like the library one s:)
