Basses: I've been practicing with Alle Psallite in the company of

belfebe, others whose LJ handles I'm blanking on, and possibly some who don't have LJs. We're getting ready for the holiday season, with our first performance being at Stierbach Holiday Faire. The Mercenary Bass also sang at All Saints - Sharon Chapel this morning, marking my only chance to sing there between Independence Day and Thanksgiving. I'll be back singing there in December for the Advent (and maybe Christmas) stuff. *Next* weekend I'll be singing with the William and Mary Choir along with hordes of other Choir alumni, since it's Homecoming weekend.

Brief bits: I helped

montuos some in the yard this weekend, and also got some stuff moved over into the shop cabinets -- I suspect that some of what's on the kitchen counters will end up in the shop cabinets as well.

And congratulations to

herveus, who Got Served yesterday *while* being court herald at War of the Wings! At some point in the next several months he will join

amykb in the double-peer ranks of the Pelaurels.

I'll be making a brief trip up to Pennsylvania this coming Tuesday and/or Wednesday, to get some stuff done at the credit union. I'm sorry that I won't get to see all my friends up there, I just don't have the time this time around; come Thursday we're leaving for Williamsburg (via Kinsale and eye appointments), so I have to be back home by Wednesday night.
