Last week I was setting up my annual checkup at my new doctor's office. I got hesitant when the admin said "8:30 AM" -- I'm a night owl after all. Then she told me "You'll have to fast for 12 hours prior to the appointment" and I said, "8:30 AM will do nicely, thank you."

Although I think "Drinkhammer" is a much better name for the game in the middle comic (when I first saw "WarDrinking" I thought is was a takeoff on "WarDialing"). Speaking of coffee, I got a link for free coffee (1.1 oz bag) from catwhowalked. Admittedly, it's from Folger's, so some folks might not consider it to be coffee. It certainly isn't Jamie's General Bean, but it is free (monetarily; they want your contact info).
