Wow, I let my attention slip for a bit amd look what happens... Happy Belated Birthdays to perronelle, psalite, and birthday pseudotriplets margaretc, wombatgirl, and kfitzwarin! Also happy belateds to scifantasy and murasakinoyoroi, even if they're not likely to see the greetings.

I have a possible solo on Thursday -- if there are enough people present that we sing all four verses of the communion anthem. It has an E above middle C, which is the bass equivalent of that high A. We'll see if I can manage it.

(side note: I'm not sure why such emphasis on the Passion rather than on the Body and Blood, but it's been that way in this parish at least as long as I've been singing there. The hymns are primarily Good Friday type hymns, too.)
