I hear you there (pauses to serch for garlic etc...;) )Although I would settle for just getting through Maundy Thursday since I have a cool solo that night, high A's and very 18th century could not ask for more although the title is weird.
So far at least no cold symptoms but this time of year I can't say I am safe form alleriges till the last minute.At least I got all the allergy scripts filled

I have a possible solo on Thursday -- if there are enough people present that we sing all four verses of the communion anthem. It has an E above middle C, which is the bass equivalent of that high A. We'll see if I can manage it.

Thursday offertory: Saw Ye My Savior? (trad., arr. Johnson)
Thursday communion: Gethsemane/Stay With Me

(side note: I'm not sure why such emphasis on the Passion rather than on the Body and Blood, but it's been that way in this parish at least as long as I've been singing there. The hymns are primarily Good Friday type hymns, too.)
